Roida mines is now in operation and the Malangtoli mines is proposed to be put into operation to coincide with the 3 million tonne plant of MISL. Roida mine has an area of 104 hectares with proven iron ore reserves of 200 million tonnes. Currently mining is done in 51.6 hectares with average Fe content of 60 to 63%.
